After practicing customising a bit, I decided to buy a cheaper Blythe to play with. I still can’t justify messing up a really pretty doll yet. Lorshek Molseh was on sale (her name is an anagram of the beloved Sherlock Holmes) on CCT, and I picked her up thinking her little moustache was comical and her outfit was a bit knaff but cute all the same.
The problem was… when I opened her up in her little box, tied her ribbon cape and put on her hat… I fell in love with the corny little kid. My partner quickly declared she was hillarous looking and his new favourite, and my brother, who normally finds the dolls more chucky-esque than toys, actually found her endearing.
So it looks like Agnes won’t be joining the production workshop an time soon, so I think I will just spend some time with a few clones! The factory clones I can justify messing with (what if the dremel slips!) but with something with so much cuteness and character… I think not.
