I have waves of love for my girls. Sometimes I am bemused and stare at them on my shelf thinking I might have a little-person problem, and I really should downsize! And then other days, I am frantically enabling myself through blogs and flickr. It’s a terrible curse.
The worst though? Is when you take the girls out and you realise how amazing they are. This has happened to be for two girls recently, and what is special about them is that they are both customs. I’ll introduce the first one to you today, my Pullip Aurelia.
Eughhhhhh. *groans*.
Isn’t she beautiful?!
Aurelia started her life as a Pullip Moon which was sent to the ever-talented Nomyens. It was an almost 4 months of wait before she arrived at my doorstep yesterday. You know what though? She was worth every minute. Nomyens was incredibly professional and sent me photographs every few days of her progress once it got to my spot in line. I am thinking that I will need to send her more dolls after this, I am currently thinking of sending a Nanette, Yeolume or Dal. Yes, I love Aurelia that much! I knew as soon as I started photographing her this one was going to cost me a lot of money.
Here she is still wearing her stock Moon chips, which actually suit her pretty well! However, I think I will change her to Puppelina eyechips in the future. Nomyens gave her a luscious and full lip carving, delicate brown brows and the most stunning lashes (under eye painted, over eye, as well as new lashes!) You can’t catch this in the pictures but she also has this amazing soft shimmer over her skin (kind of like if you applied highlighter over your makeup!) which gives her soft-focus gorgeous glow when you photograph her!
I requested gradiated brown eyelids for her as well, and has some amazing pink and brown smokey eyes.
Her crazy wig is a soft lilac-brown mohair made by Natrume. I’ve been requested to do a review on the wig, which I will do shortly! I feel that the hair gives her this crazy princess look, and it is so amazingly soft! I do love it.

Aurelia has quickly become one of my favourite girls. She’s stunning, she’s unique, and she’s… well mine! She was created for me from sketches and references I gave… and well, that makes her super special in my heart! I cannot wait now for my Freddy Tan Blythe girl… who, because she is uniquely mine I am sure will capture my heart in a different way.
