I was honestly having the worst day today. Splitting headache, students everywhere going insane and then the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate! Truly grumpy, the day was going downhill until I got a message from the wonderful Freddy Tan… “How are you doing dear?”
I was first introduced to the work of Freddy Tan through The Doll Scene (you can see a preview here and a review by Blythe Life here) and I thought his creations were absolutely adorable. Have you seen his Blythe version of Agnes from Despicable Me? I have been so lucky in recent weeks to be having Freddy work on a girl for me. She was once an Urban Cowgirl, who Freddy is turning into a Totoro-themed girl for me (of course, I love Ghibli). I gave a rather hectic set of specifications “Cute! No eyebrows! Sweet! Purple? No Blue! No Purple! Maybe Grey! What am I doing?” Freddy managed to decipher my thoughts and has been creating this absolutely adorable thing, with the most gorgeous eyelids.
Wow. I mean seriously, Look at those eyelids! Such cute art on them, and such adorable purple-blue colours :). This seriously made my day 1000x better, and Freddy is always so kind. It goes to show that sometimes dolls can really cheer you up!
I cannot wait to see her finished. I love her already ❤
