Miss Joaquim is the Blythe Carnival Singapore Travelling Doll, and I was lucky enough to have her visit the doll house in February, and we made some time for her to visit some Melbourne icons, before heading up the coast to Canberra!

I first learnt of Caramelaw after seeing one of her creations on the front cover of the Doll Scene by Louis Bou. I was completely enamoured by the whimsy and the fun of her gorgeous girls. They had a certain style and panache – they were clearly from another world and bursting out of an illustrated candy land. So when Sheena Aw aka Caramelaw asked if I could help her doll home from Auguste Clown, I of course readily agreed. So – for a short few days I had a very special visitor, and I’d like you to meet miss Meilla.
