Trixie, The Swarovski Girl.

I’ve introduced you before to my clone Blythe girl with fabulous blond hair. I haven’t had time to do much doll stuff recently as I’ve been organising my wedding (16th of May!). I finally found some time to do some artsy stuff on the weekend, and I have to say, it’s a super calming process.

Painting Pull Charms
Pull CharmsHere I am painting the pull-charms for Gumji and Trixie. Super fun!

Trixie is a Swarovski-themed girl. I got inspiration from her via a concept Pullip doll. I wanted her in metallic silver, blues and purples, which presented whole new challenges themselves. I gave her a soft pink rosy look, with purple under-lashes and purple eyeshadow. I wanted to her to have super-glossy lips so I added 4 layers of gloss!

The glitter mostly had to be hand placed on her lids, but I was stoked with the outcome.

I have re-carved her nose and lips, and given her a double set of eyelashes! I marbled her eyelids, which was a pain but worth it, and gave her a smattering of freckles.

Hand-painted eye chips
I also gave her a hand-painted set of eyechips! Platinum silver, a sparkly purple and light green, and this crazy silver glitter set.

Being a swarovski-girl, she would not be complete without her own set of crystals. Trixie has real swarovski AB crystals above her temples, in AB white and blue. It gives her a bit of spunk!

TrixieTrixie has a lot of character with her, with striking eyes and her choppy blond bangs. Her hair is as soft as ever!

Here are her super sparkly front-facing chips. I’ve gaze-corrected and boggled her eyes.

She’s got a bit of spunk in her side facing eyes too!

Work done:
– Boggled Eyes
– Gaze Correction
– Carved Lips, Nose and Philtrum
– New face-up with a small dusting of freckles, and sealed with MSC.
– Sand-matted and sealed face
– Hand painted eyelids
– New eyelashes (double set for extra thickness!)
– Personalised pull-charms.
– Sleep eyes.

Trixie will be up for adoption soon!
