I’ve had two Simply Peppermint’s and each time, I can’t bond to them. So, I sent them both off to get a new lease on life, and the first came home this week – Juniper (I named her Juniper meaning young and evergreen). Juniper was sent to the talented Christine at Forty Dolly Winks and I asked her to have fantasy coloured eyeshadows… and a secret little smile.
Juniper is a stunner of a girl, and in between my Quinn (Grumpy Baby) and Gingerbread (Happy girl) in terms of expression. She’s blushy, freckly, and child-like, with Forty Wink’s signature style.
Juniper has four gorgeous eyechips. Two, a green and a hazel, I sent from Puppelina. She also has two (brown and a lilac) hand-painted eyechips that Christine sourced. I have a bit of work to do to finish her – her new Licca body has come in the mail, so I will rebody her – I think that all of Christine’s girls look more adorable in the Licca!
I’m still a bit unsure about the Peppermint Mullet. My hairdresser friend has offered to give her a slick haircut (I think I would love her with some bangs), and I’ve also ordered a new bob for her to try on as well. I’m not sure if her hair is going her enough justice!
My goodness. Look at those eyes. I’ve always had a thing for Forty Winks girls. I would buy them all at catch them all like Pokemon if I could.
Have I spoken about her eyelids yet? How adorable! Just little pink lovehearts all over! I think I need to spend some time to make this girl a little bit more special (give her undivided attention!). She needs some new pull charms as well :). She’s also still in her Peppermint stock clothes, but I will be giving her a new outfit soon!
I managed to find some awesome hats for Gingerbread and Quinn (they are wearing cloud hats from PoppyTreeLane!) and Quinn looks miserably cute! I will have to take a photograph to show you soon.
