Pullip’s blog was super busy the past couple of days announcing updates to two suspected releases. The first, being the sister doll to the lovely Pullip Steampunk World Alice – is her grey-toned companion Mad Hatter.

I was honestly having the worst day today. Splitting headache, students everywhere going insane and then the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate! Truly grumpy, the day was going downhill until I got a message from the wonderful Freddy Tan… “How are you doing dear?”
One of the first fully stock Blythe releases that I fell in love with (once I knew what I was doing, and looking at) was Le Jardin Maman – and I’m pretty sure it was […]
So….Scurvygrrrl had warned me that Mandarake was the spawn of the devil, and I didn’t even realise until I saw how unspeakably easy it was to order from them… and how much cheaper it is compared the US because of the Australian Exchange rate!
I was sad to see photographs for the newer Groove releases by a different photographer – I found that they didn’t have as much life as previously (and were much more flat in colour) – case in point being the newest Pullip Kanaria photographs! However, I was delighted to find that Groove had commissioned Suemomo to photograph their new Alice in Steampunk World release. You can read about the interview with Suemomo and see all the photographs here.
Spunk. Attitude. Violetta just rocks it. In between the Alice releases and Anime collabs, every now and again Groove releases an amazing Pullip, and with Violetta, they really hit the nail on the head. On JPGroove’s website she is listed as the most popular release of 2014, and it’s pretty easy to see why once you have her in your hands.
Just more photos of Quinn in • Nénelle et Lalluli • because… I still can’t get over how cute she is. I went to town the other day taking photos of her – she’s so receptive to being shutter-bugged! I also find her hilarious in these bear hats due to her expression. Her polky-dotty eyes really match the overall colouring 🙂
I was asked on Facebook to do a quick review of Natrume’s Mohair Wigs. Natrume runs a shop on Etsy that sells Mohair wigs made only from Tibetan mohair fibres. Our model for today is Aurelia, who is kindly modelling the “Latte” coloured Pullip wig for us.
