I’ve been busy working through my commissions list in the last few days, and have some images to share with you! The idea being is that I work through the entire commissions list first before I take anymore (and plus I am heading into a period of real-life work intensity) and I feel bad if the waiting list is open for too long!
A quick little update.
Now that I am a bit more versed with making full commission girls, and how long it takes to get all the pieces together and shipped to me all over the world I’ve updated my commissions page. I’m now filling slots for February, with the idea of ordering pieces for your girl by the middle of January, and having everything ready to start by mid-February.
If you have contacted me but don’t see yourself on the Feb waitlist please tell me so I can put you on!
She was the protector of nature and the hunt; both wild and tame animals were under her protection. She also protected the agriculture and animal herding.
I had a lot of fun researching Artemis, the Goddess of the Hunt. She was a bad-ass Goddess with her twin Apollo, and she ruled the moon. It bought back a lot of memories of when I was a child, and would with great fascination read about the adventures of the Greek Gods. So when Melissa asked if I could make her Artemis (or Diana, in her Roman equivalent), I completely jumped at the chance.
Emmeline isn’t a Wicked Queen or anything like that, but she’s a bit of a beauty and she knows it, and flaunts it. I’ve shown you guys a sneak peek of this girl before, but now that she’s finished – here are her final pictures. I’d like you to meet Miss Emmeline, an ethereal, ghostly, beauty.
Things have been super busy at Chez Dollhouse. My exhibitions have finally started to wind down, so I have been able to work on a few girls. Currently, I have 4 girls in progress mode, and one girl has just arrived this week for a New Year’s makeover. So… here’s a little sneak peek of what I am going to be up to!
Hi Guys – Just a quick update (and a sneak peak of the newest girl!) – my commission list for the next few weeks has been filled up (as I mostly only have time to […]
“Once upon a time there was a poor peasant who had so many children that he did not have enough of either food or clothing to give them. Pretty children they all were, but the prettiest was the youngest daughter, who was so lovely there was no end to her loveliness.”
Thus begins the fairy tale of a maiden who went searching for her love in a castle East of the Sun, and West of the Moon and her many trials and tribulations on the way. It was also the story that Melissa gave to me as inspiration for her girl.
