Just before I left the country (and I’m talking minutes) the postie arrived at my door with a box containing a very special girl. She was a raven-haired Kenner Blythe from 1972/73!

Hello! Just a quick update on my end, I’ve been stuck on a plane for the last 26 hours, and finally landed in London! I’ve managed to grab a few pictures of Nori in London, […]
I feel like time has really escaped from me this week! A huge job came in and it’s been all hands on deck, and I’m leaving on Wednesday for London (had to be pushed forward, thought it was going to be Friday!). After that, we’re heading to Iceland. My husband has told me I’m allowed to bring one dolly with me on my trip to photograph, on the proviso he pick her. So he picked Nori, because she’s obviously his favourite by miles.
It was an exciting few days of Dolly Mail for me – it was the most frustrating thing having all these packages arrive but NO TIME to open them. I was home almost 4am every day. Eugh!
I finally got to sleep. For a while, it was nice. I woke up, and still want a Kenner. Danggit. Normally these inclinations go away after sweet, reasonable sleep sets in!
Where are you, sweet, reasonable sleep?
It’s almost 1am here, and I’m sitting here waiting for some glue to dry on an Architectural model in my office. What to do? What else but to browse flickr and read articles on Blythe Life.
What a disaster.
Groove has been going on a rampage where they’ve been re-releasing some old favourites. When they announced that Luna was making a return many collectors (myself included) jumped on it. She used to be over $300USD, and has now returned to $144 USD on Pullipstyle.
I’ve had a bit of an identity crisis over the weekend and got confused with my Les Jeunette Doll with my blog. I ummed and ah’d over the name of it before and I was never fully decided on it. I’ve started embarking on my doll-house adventures (a team of architects can do this… and I wanted my blog to be more ‘doll’ if that makes sense – at least with the name). First I wanted to redo my logo, and then I decided I wanted to change the name of my blog. And then I did it. Talk about being compulsive!
