I feel like time has really escaped from me this week! A huge job came in and it’s been all hands on deck, and I’m leaving on Wednesday for London (had to be pushed forward, thought it was going to be Friday!). After that, we’re heading to Iceland. My husband has told me I’m allowed to bring one dolly with me on my trip to photograph, on the proviso he pick her. So he picked Nori, because she’s obviously his favourite by miles.

Gingerbread, the Smiley Sister
It was an exciting few days of Dolly Mail for me – it was the most frustrating thing having all these packages arrive but NO TIME to open them. I was home almost 4am every day. Eugh!
Loving Nori – My Freddy Tan Girl
The sense of impending doom (for my wallet)
I finally got to sleep. For a while, it was nice. I woke up, and still want a Kenner. Danggit. Normally these inclinations go away after sweet, reasonable sleep sets in!

My Freddy Tan Totoro Girl is Finished!
My Freddy Tan Custom Update

I was honestly having the worst day today. Splitting headache, students everywhere going insane and then the fire alarm went off and we had to evacuate! Truly grumpy, the day was going downhill until I got a message from the wonderful Freddy Tan… “How are you doing dear?”

One of the first fully stock Blythe releases that I fell in love with (once I knew what I was doing, and looking at) was Le Jardin Maman – and I’m pretty sure it was […]
Grumpy Teddy
Just more photos of Quinn in • Nénelle et Lalluli • because… I still can’t get over how cute she is. I went to town the other day taking photos of her – she’s so receptive to being shutter-bugged! I also find her hilarious in these bear hats due to her expression. Her polky-dotty eyes really match the overall colouring 🙂
Quinn, a Forty Winks Doll
Christine of Forty Winks Doll Studio makes some of my favourite custom Blythes. I would always look at them longingly, with their pudgy cheeks (how did she do that?!), soft, plump lips and funny expressions. I was always torn between the little grumpy faced ones and the happy smiley ones. When Quinn showed up on Dolly Adoption, I just couldn’t resist.

The Wonderful and Horribly Enabling People of the Doll Kingdom
It’s been a busy weekend in Les Jeunette land, because I married my enabling ex-Fiance, now Husband on Saturday. Let it be said that my obsession with “weird Japanese Dolls” was only mentioned 3 times […]
