Just before I left the country I put in an order for one of my favourite translucent girls of all time (besides Miss Sally Rice and Margo Unique Girl) – the wonderfully funky, and spunky, Nostalgic Pop (also known affectionately as NosPop).

Blythe Adventures in the Land of Ice and Fire
It’s been a hectic couple of weeks after Iceland, and we jumped over to Copenhagen for a few days before I ended up back home. I’ve only just now been able to get the rest of the photographs off my camera, but I wanted to share with you mine and Nori’s second half of adventure in Iceland!
Nori in Iceland Pt. 1

Last week, we touched down in the fantastical land of Iceland. By this, I mean we flew into the summer of no sunsets, through layers of clouds to touch upon this green island with steaming geysirs and powdery green slopes filled with purple, yellow and blue flowers.
Nori finally visits Big Ben
Over the last few days I’ve been frantically wrapping up things in London before I headed to Iceland. I managed to find a few moments to take Nori for a walk and head to Big Ben, the challenge put to me by Olive. First up, there was a tube strike, so I walked from the British Museum down to the river, past Covent Garden. Seriously, the city plays like a Monopoly board.
Nori’s first day out in London
I had a bit of down time, and finally managed to brave the crowds of London to take Nori out for a bit. First off, we visited Harrods, which was just oozing in luxury and money. I made my way through the floors until, exhausted, I managed to find a tea room which sold cakes and tea in beautiful Wedgewood crockery. I then tried my best to give myself diabetes, by consuming a cake on my own.
The London Summer
Today is a massive heatwave (for London) and I’m hiding in my dark basement in the cool as apparently, the news says the roads are going to melt. To take advantage of that I’ve done some housekeeping and finally managed to process my first few shots of Nori.
The Original Arrives
Shiny, Matte or Translucent?
Gingerbread, the Smiley Sister
It was an exciting few days of Dolly Mail for me – it was the most frustrating thing having all these packages arrive but NO TIME to open them. I was home almost 4am every day. Eugh!
